Junior Challenge

A range of activities, visits and educational experiences, courses are designed with the younger visitor in mind. Be it hanging on the abseil crag, searching for mini-beasts in the woodland, exploring old mine workings, or singing a new song around the campfire - the outdoor environment affords a unique learning experience.

Courses are extremely flexible and generally range from those that are purely activity based through to those that combine outdoor activities with academic work. We try to encourage individual and social development during the course and hope pupils leave the Centre with a great sense of personal achievement.

This is not a conclusive list - if you want to incorporate anything that is not mentioned please discuss it with us. We are always open to suggestions and new ideas.

The courses we plan are designed to be flexible to take into account the changing nature of the mid-Wales weather!! However much planning is undertaken before your visit we can never guarantee the weather will suit the programme. Should we have a prolonged period of bad weather, alternative activities will be suggested.
