A STRAWBERRIES & CREAM CRUFTS

Due to the outbreak of foot & mouth disease in Britain this year,

many major events in the nation had to be postponed, or even cancelled altogether.

One of the casualties was Crufts - due to be held in March.

A new date was fixed - in May - over the Bank Holiday normally occupied by Bath.

Thus started the huge effort to move this gigantic operation,

for which we have to thank the Crufts Show Committee.

The result is now history. Crufts went ahead with all the qualities of a well-oiled sewing machine.
