| The English Dictionaries are modules created with the 'Verbs & Nouns' application (i.e. you need Verbs & Nouns to use them). They contain the English words, their translations into the chosen language or explanations in English. | The component programs of the Language Toolkit can access this information to perform various activities. For example with the 'Verbs & Nouns' application you can do exercises, play word-games, browse words and their translations etc. |

People sometimes think that to form an English plural you just add 's'. This module may hold some surprises. It contains 37000 English nouns, for example city/cities, box/boxes, leaf/leaves, and many less-common types. If your native language is German then additionally you can download the German Translations module to add German translations to 'English Nouns'.
